The exhibitions organized by Casa de la India play an essential role as an artistic manifestation and didactic instrument to raise awareness in Spain of India`s culture and society through diverse aesthetic expressions and multidisciplinary content. The versatility of its facilities allows Casa de la India to host exhibitions of manifold formats and media. At the same time Casa de la India regularly collaborates with various cultural institutions in the co-production of exhibition projects that can also tour to other cities in Spain, Europe and India.
Casa de la India regularly presents exhibitions on Indian themes in multiple formats and artistic genres (photography, painting, sculpture, etc.) and has produced major exhibitions such as the one dedicated to the Oscar-winning film director Satyajit Ray, to the life and figure of Mahatma Gandhi or to the legendary sitarist Ravi Shankar.
